Rock Music by “Use Destruction” Is This Week’s Concert In The Park Feature

Use Destruction is a hard-rock group based in northwest Florida. Though somewhat new and unrecognized, the band has managed to get their name associated with good tunes, a rock & roll lifestyle, and just having a good time. The band has been featured at venues such as Ms. Newby’s and Foghorn’s in Panama City Beach, Jackson County’s own Old Ice House, and The Outpost Biker Bar in Freeport.
The band will be featured at the Citizen’s Lodge in Marianna at 6:00PM, for Music Under the Stars.
“Papa Swamp” (Daren Riviera), thirty-nine, is the vocalist of Use Destruction.. “Stork” (Stuart Gamble), eighteen, is the guitarist for the band.
“Jive Turkey” (Pierce Bratton), fifty-five, is the bassist-extraordinaire for the group. “The Prophet” (Gary Clydesdale), eighteen, is the drummer for the band.
The band features a set list of about fifty songs, including fifteen original songs. The rest of the songs are covers by classic bands that nearly everyone will recognize. You can hear the band’s own songs on their Myspace at http://www.myspace.com/UseDestruction .
Band merchandise will be on sale at the Citizen’s Lodge on Thursday, July 30th, when they play.
