Miss National Peanut Festival

The Miss National Peanut Festival Pageant was held this past weekend on October 2 & 3 with the finals being held on Saturday night. Miss Jackson County, Kyndall Covington, was named first runner up. She also placed in the top six in the Evening Gown competition and won the category; placed in the top five in the Verbal Communication competition and placed in the top five in the Interview Competition. Kyndall is a sophomore at Chipola College majoring in theater and is a member of the Chipola Show Choir. She is the daughter of Craig and Gina Smith and the granddaughter of Carolyn Richardson of Marianna.
