Marianna Police Department Needs Your Assistance

Officers from the Marianna Police Department responded to a vehicle burglary behind Dr. Bontragers’s on Jackson Street. The burglary occurred during the daylight hours, with the suspect(s) making forcible entry into the victim’s vehicle, taking only the victim’s purse, which contained an undisclosed amount of cash. Later in the evening a local citizen found the victim’s purse in the area of south Madison Street. The only item found to be missing from the purse was the cash. If anyone has any information regarding the recent vehicle burglaries, they are encouraged to contact the Marianna Police Department at 850-526-3125, or Crime Stoppers at 850-526-5000. A cash reward is offered for the arrest of the suspect(s).
