Lt. Matt Kersey with the Graceville Police Department is encouraging everyone to double-check their currency when receiving money from bank institutions, grocery stores, gas stations, and etc. due to an increased amount of counterfeit bills emerging in the Graceville, Jackson County, area. Anyone with any information pertaining to the originating source of these counterfeit bills is asked to contact the Graceville Police Department or your local law enforcement agency.
