At Tuesday’s regular meeting of the County Commission the commissioners reviewed an inspection report presented by County Engineer Larry Alvarez, concerning the condition of the facility currently housing the Supervisor of Elections function. His report revealed a minor problem with foundation settling slightly in one corner, but found the repair to be simple and of minor cost.
Based on this information, the panel voted unanimously to proceed with the purchase for $235,000 from the existing owner, Dwight Dykes.
