City of Marianna Shows Appreciation To Wal Mart

At Tuesday’s meeting of the Marianna City Commission a special plaque expressing the City’s appreciation for all the donations made for fund raising activities and the city sports programs was presented to Mickey Gilmore, Manager of the Marianna Wal Mart Super Center.

“I am fortunate to work for a company which allows me to do these kind of things,” Gilmore stated as he accepted the plaque from Mayor Roger Clay. One of the most recent contributions made by Wal Mart was the donation of a very significant amount of sports equipment to the City Recreational Program. Clay Wells, City Recreation Director is also shown in the photograph.
