A few weeks ago Zaxby’s participated in a fund raising effort to assist the Ward family with a serious medical problem related to the impending birth of their first child. The doctors had informed them that abnormalities had been detected which would greatly escalate the medical bills associated with the birth.
The baby was delivered about a week later, and as predicted, serious problems were found. The newborn will require extensive surgery, and the family has no way to pay the bills. Because of this worsening situation, Zaxby’s has graciously offered to host another fund drive in the restaurant on Wednesday, September 22. A generous percentage of the total revenues for the day will be donated to the Ward family to help ease their distress. So all chicken lovers are urged to eat at Zaxby’s on September 22. The food will be good and the cause is also good. There is also an account setup for Owen Ward at Regions Bank in Marianna for personal donations.
