Breast Cancer Symposium Informs, Educates, and Entertains Over 400

“Dazzled By Hope” Is 2010 Event Theme

Breast Cancer is a terrible, deadly disease which cruelly takes our wives, daughters, mothers, sisters, grandmothers, and cherished friends. All women (and men) should be on constant vigilance for any symptomatic signs of this killer. The main purpose of the annual “Breast Cancer Symposium” here in Jackson County is to encourage everyone in this effort. The Symposium is Chaired by the hard working Lanet James, herself a breast cancer survivor.

That is also the purpose of the annual “Breast Cancer Awareness Series” published in the TIMES during the month of October. This issue is the fourth and last publication in this ongoing program for this year. We hope you enjoyed reading the survivor stories…and that it encouraged you to maintain a higher level of vigilance against this malady.
