Local Poet, Philosopher, Writer, and Fisherman is Finding Success in Literary World

Beginning with a sudden, unexplainable inspiration and urge to write, local resident and often acclaimed “Big River Catfish Expert”, Richard Folsom produced his first book, “Was I A Poet and Didn’t Know It” two years ago. Since then, he has authored two more entertaining, thought provoking books.

His second book was “Was I An Author and Didn’t Know It?”, - Advanced Redneck Wisdom, and he has just finished a book for children titled “Different Ways of Looking At The Same Thing”. This unusual book is also currently hitting book shelves. Folsom is turning into a prolific writer…replacing his fishing pole with a pen.
