Michael Milton …Breaking Into the World of Theatre

Michael Milton always knew he wanted to be an actor when he was growing up, but he never knew exactly where that would take him. He was born the son of Patty Gortemoller and Michael John Milton in June of 1986 in Marianna, FL. Jackson County is where he grew up and still calls “home”.

While attending high school he was very involved in the Marianna High School Show Choir which was directed by Angie White, and as a junior at MHS Michael was able to audition and land the leading role in Chipola College’s spring musical “Big River” as Huck Finn under the direction of Charles Sirmon. From that point on he knew what he wanted to do. He started performing professionally during the following summer in the production shows at Miracle Strip Amusement Park in Panama City, FL.
