Last Thursday evening what may have been the largest crowd of the summer may have come to enjoy an evening of musical entertainment, relaxation, and socialization in the serene setting of the beautiful meadow and park facility located near the banks of the Chipola River, just north of Marianna. The entertainment last week was provided by the local group, “2nd Time Around”, and they did not disappoint the music loving crowd that came.
Chuck Hatcher, Director of Parks and Recreation for Jackson County announces that this week’s free concert will feature Contemporary Christian music provided by two exciting local groups, “Seek Thy Solace” led by Marshall Hilton, and “New Form” the Marianna First Methodist praise-band. It should be an inspiring, entertaining evening of great music.
Bring a lawn chair, the kids, your dog, a cooler, and be prepared for a great, “down home” evening.
