Chamber’s “First Friday” Breakfast To Feature All County School Principals

Open dialogue between school officials and community
By Sid Riley

In its continuing effort to strengthen cooperative involvement between the business community and the Jackson County School System, the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce will hold the second annual “First Friday Breakfast” program which involves all sixteen school principals in the county.

The title of the program this year will be “Together We Can Meet the Challenge”. It will cover what the group perceives as the major challenges facing the schools during the coming school year. There will be a lively question and answer period after the formal presentations by Linda Hall of Malone High, Diane Long of Cottondale Elementary, and Chris Franklin of Graceville High.
This month’s meeting will be sponsored by Troy University at Chipola.
