Christmas Parades are scheduled throughout Jackson County as Christmas Season Begins By Sid Riley

This year’s Christmas Season is in full bloom. December 25, 2009 is rushing towards us at an amazing speed, as remaining shopping days click away. As part of the onset of the season, community calendars are full of special Christmas events, including parades, plays, concerts, tree lightings, and special church services. It is Christmas Season for sure.

Marianna held its Christmas Parade last weekend, on December 5, Grand Ridge has its Christmas Parade scheduled for Friday, December 11, Cottondale has a Christmas Festival the following day on December 12, and Sneads is cranking up the bands for a Christmas Parade on December 18. Mark your calendars, gather up the kids, and go enjoy these community events. Get into the spirit!
