Lawsuit Against Troy Tidwell Is Dismissed!!

Suit against one time Dozier Supervisor is dismissed in Tallahassee Court By Sid Riley

The pending lawsuit against one time Dozier supervisor, Troy Tidwell, was dismissed on Tuesday by Leon County Circuit Judge Shelfer. The grounds for the dismissal was the ruling that the Statute of Limitations applies in this case, and there was thus no basis for the claims to proceed further. Consequently, the Motion to Dismiss which had been filed by the attorneys representing state agencies and by local attorneys Fuqua and Bonderant on behalf of Troy Tidwell, was approved by the court.

The claimants now have thirty days in which to file an appeal to the ruling.
