Correction – Man Shot in Baton Rouge Restaurant Was Not Owner of Local Zaxby’s

The TIMES was given erroneous information regarding the ownership participation of the man who was shot in a late night incident in a Baton Rouge restaurant as reported in last week’s issue. The victim, Mr. David DeMesseman, was the brother of one of the owners of our local Zaxby’s franchise, and he had no direct involvement with the business. We apologize for any confusion the initial report of this event might have created.

Mr. DeMesseman was a fine, Christian man, and our condolences go to his family ….including his brother who is involved with the Marianna business.
