John Russell remains Mayor, Bobby Rogers, Ann Bryan, and Bill James remain as the City Council and George Hall remains Town Clerk. All were unopposed, thus there will be no City Election in Bascom this fall.
In other municipalities around the county, city elections are scheduled. These include August 10 in Alford, August 31 in Jacob, and September 7 in Campbellton.
