Christine Gilbert…A Survivor!

Would you like to learn how to make quilts? Do you need a volunteer to help in a good cause? Would you like to meet a woman living a full, rich, meaningful life? If so, then you need to meet and enjoy Christine Gilbert. She is a volunteer teacher of knitting, quilting, crochet, and sewing at the Marianna Seniors Center. She also conducts weaving demonstrations on her spinning wheel at festivals and events in the area. She also teaches crafts at Emerald Coast Hospice, making items for hospice patients…again as a volunteer. Also, Christine is a Breast Cancer Survivor who has agreed to tell everyone her story in the hope that it helps some other woman discover and deal with this dreaded disease.
