Gary Gammons was very much a man. He was an avid weight lifter, a non-smoker, a determined person who always kept his body in almost perfect condition. Then one day in early 2008 his wife Annie noticed a small lump which was visible on his well developed chest muscle.
“Oh, it is nothing,” Gary proclaimed, “It isn’t sore. It is probably just a small muscle tear or something. It will be gone soon.” As would have been the case with most men, he was too “macho” to worry about something so trivial. Going to a doctor was out of the question.
