Bar-B-Cue Meals and Saved Souls

The thrift store doors are open and the bar-b-cue’s smoking at the brand new locations for Marianna’s Christ Town Ministries’ commercial outlets. Christ Town is a second-chance street ministry that runs a drug and alcohol rehab residency program for men who need to turn their lives around. The businesses provide the funding.
Pork, ribs and chicken are cooked to perfection and served in plates to go with baked beans and slaw at the corner of Smith Street and Kelson Avenue, in addition to a location off S.R. 73 just south of the courthouse. A Thrift shop similar to the Goodwill stores is now open at the Kelson location.
