“Can-Paign” Christmas Gifts Presented to Sneads Children

An early Christmas and a more bountiful Thanksgiving were made possible for two families in Sneads last week thanks to that ole ”Soda Can Santa” from Grand Ridge, 10-year-old Noah McArthur.
Noah has been doing this for six years, according to parents David and Jacquelyn McArthur. He collects aluminum cans all year-round, sells them for cash then uses the money to buy Christmas gifts for less fortunate children. This year, two families received large thrash bags full of wrapped presents, some of which were opened early by the kids.
