Burglar Found Asleep on the Job
On Saturday, November 13th, Officers with the Marianna Police Department responded to St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, located on Lafayette Street. Upon arrival, the officers learned that the suspect made forced entry into the back door of the church, and they were advised that the suspect, later identified as Jeffery Murphy, was asleep on the couch in a downstairs room.
