Parade entries are pouring into the Main Street office. Today is the deadline to get your entry into the Christmas Parade of Lights!
Santa Claus is coming to town this Friday, December 3rd and Main Street wants to invite the public to celebrate his arrival with the annual festive Christmas Parade. Entries are being sought for the 2010 “Christmas Parade of Lights” parade, which will be held at 5:30 PM in downtown Marianna.
Our theme this year is “Christmas Parade of Lights” and Main Street would like to encourage every parade entry to be decorated with as many colorful Christmas lights as possible. The Parade line-up will begin at 4:00 PM on Daniels Street in front of the old High School. To access the line-up or drop a child off, please travel Kelson Avenue to Daniels Street. To sign up for the parade or be a vendor, you can visit www.cityofmarianna.com and download a Parade form or a Winterfest Vendor form from the main page of our website or call Charlotte Brunner, Main Street Director at (850)718-1022.
