Will run against Mayor James Wise in April Election

In the closing moments of the qualification phase, Dr. Rick Brunner declared his candidacy for the District seat on the Marianna City Commission. Brunner was previously Commissioner for that seat, but did not run during the past term for the position, and thus resigned the seat to James Wise who had then qualified to run. Now, Brunner has reemerged as a candidate.
The city elections for this district will be held on April 14, 2009.
