City Representatives Appear Before Florida Public Service Commission

Marianna city officials are doing their best to alleviate some the exorbitantly high costs city residents are forced to pay because of the utility rate structure charged by Florida Public Utilities. This unusually high cost of electric service has been created by the negotiated contract rate charged to FPU by their provider, Gulf Power. This contracted rate was approved by the Public Service Commission prior to enactment.
